Important new announcement from Carrera!

Introducing Digital 132, the next generation of digital track systems from Carrera.  We are pleased to announce that Digital 132 cars are reverse compatible with PRO-X products, meaning that your customers who have bought PRO-X cars and tracks can use new Digital 132 cars with their PRO-X systems.   The only limitation is that PRO-X cars cannot be used on Digital 132 track systems.

Digital 132 provides a number of improvements from PRO-X, for instance:

• Now up to six cars can race on a single track
• Digital 132 cars have a switch that allows them to run on analog Evolution tracks
• No more dip-switches; Digital 132 cars are programmed through the hand controller
• New Evolution cars can be retrofitted - with a kit - to become Digital 132 vehicles
• New Exclusiv cars can be retrofitted - with a kit - to become Digital 132 vehicles

The new systems also offer autonomous and pace car operation, permit wired and wireless controllers to operate simultaneously, and feature an improved assembly connection system.  Learn more at www.carrera-toys.com and click on Digital 132.

Carrera's PRO-X Slot Cars and Track Sets

We have the Pro-X system and it adds an entirely new element of strategy to slot racing with the advent of lane changing.

• 1 to 4 drivers can race simultaneously on one track
• Specially developed PRO-X lane change sections allow for overtaking at maximum speed
• Individually coded, digitally controlled and special PRO-X cars
• Possibility to play with a programmable training car
• Pit stop lane and electronic PRO-X lap counter available as accessories
• PRO-X tracks can be extended with Evolution/Exclusive track!
• All PRO-X cars come with special guide keels fitted with side suspension

We have learned from Carrera that:

Pro-X cars only run on a layout that has a Pro-X Black Box in it.  The regular line of cars will not run on a Pro-X layout as the voltage is constant and you would not be able to control the speed of the cars.  The track however, is the same.
