A brand new company has entered the high end 1:18 scale market. Bauer Models will soon release their first ever model. This fully finished 1:18 scale die-cast replica will set a new milestone in model manufacturing. It's the legendary 1930 Bugatti Royale Type 41 Coupe de Ville in stunning blue/black two tone. The model is approx 14 inches long and is produced from more than 1,300 individual parts, all hand assembled to bring us a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The die-cast metal body can easily be removed to show the incredible chassis detail beneath including the fully wired and plumbed engine area. The interior is also faithfully reproduced with all the actual materials and glass faced gauges. This incredible miniature is an extremely limited edition. Pre-ordering is strongly suggested to secure delivery. Due to the time involved to produce a model of this nature, we will be receiving monthly allocations. All orders will be filled on a first come-first served basis. Scheduled for delivery in the 4th qtr. 2008.
About the Car: The Bugatti Royale Type 41 was designed to impress; and it certainly did. Given its extreme size and beautiful design, it continues to fascinate auto enthusiasts across the world to this day. At a price that could have bought three Rolls-Royce cars, the Royale was reserved to only the richest and elite who could afford such a car. The extremely elegant body design is fastened to a gargantuan chassis, and is built extremely sturdily in order to cope with the length, weight and even the huge torque of the car.
